The BCYSSL League is the top level of Boys soccer competition for Lower Mainland Youth District teams. The soccer Districts involved are: Alouette, Burnaby, Delta, Fraser Valley, Lower Island, North Shore, Richmond, Surrey Metro, Upper Island, Vancouver, and Westminster.

There are Div 1 and Div 2 Divisions at U14, U16, and U18 Age Divisions. Teams vie for League title in each of the six Divisions and all teams are eligible for the Provincial A-Cup competition in their Age Division. If the League chooses there may be a separate League Cup competition for Div 2 teams in their Age Division that elect not to participate in Provincial A-Cup. Dependent on a sufficient number of teams electing to do so, this Div 2 Cup may or may not run each year.
